The genesis of Oudora began with a solitary journey to the heart of Southeast Asia. In the dense, humid forests where the Aquilaria tree grows, our founders discovered the resinous heartwood known as Oud—often referred to as liquid gold. For centuries, this ingredient has been revered in Eastern cultures for its spiritual depth and complexity.
Captivated by its profound character but noticing its absence in refined Western perfumery, we sought to create a fragrance house that honored this ingredient while interpreting it for the contemporary connoisseur.
